1978 Corvette T-Top L-48 350 with 4 speed transmission. Brown metallic with brown interior. The paint is poor with checkering on tops, hood and upper areas. Shine is dull, it looks better on the photos than in real time. Still looks good from 10-15 feet type. Interior is nice for age, the driver seat shows the most ware with only a 4 inch crack on bottom back rest. Carpet has been replaced. The car came from estate that includes $6000 invoices for new parts and labor in past couple years. New tires, radiator, carburetor, exhaust rear, brake work, lots of small things. The car is a nice driver with smooth running engine, clutch and transmission shifts nice. The car shows 45,000 miles and the more I look and drive it I believe it really does only have that low miles. The shifter and clutch linkage are so smooth with no slop. I removed the top molding just above the windshield to see how nice the bird cage is from rust. It only has surface rust. This is good to know for a C3 Corvette! I just dont think it has 145,000 miles. The paint and interior just show its age. Things that need attention would be new front shock, gas gage works sometimes, AC is complete but not working. Electric windows work and tilt telescoping steering wheel is nice. Radio and heater work. Speed and Tach work. Reason for sale, I like Corvettes and they come and go. This one has had a lot of TLC already done. Makes for a nice driver in older Corvette. Call---ask for Terry
